Second Ancillary Task
For our second ancillary task we have decided to complete a magazine cover. We are undecided if we will create an original magazine or if we will use a magazine already made for example 'Empire' Magazine which is widely recognized in the film community. Creating our own magazine from scratch would give us a lot more chance to use our creativity and design fonts etc. etc. But using a template from a Magazine already in production would give our product a more professional finish.

Back Drops for Poster
When creating our poster it is key that the backdrop is relevant to the genre of the film and relevant to what happens in the film, for example using a back drop of a football match for a film that dosen't involve football. Thats why it is important that we toy with a couple of ideas before we choose what we will use. We have shortlisted a few ideas. They follow below:

These are images taken from the internet and these will not be what we will use for our final piece. They are merely ideas and inspirations for when we start creating our final media piece.

Skeleton Poster
The picture above is a skeleton of how we want our poster to be layed out. At the top we want our reviews for our film from magazines and such, the picture has to be the main focus of the poster therefore we will put it in the middle, the picture will be placed just above the name of the film. At the bottom we will place the billing block, this is where the billing block is generally placed.
